James Bond is 007 – shaken, not stirred…!

PC0198_1_m  As fans of Ian Fleming’s fictional MI6 secret agent, James Bond, and his collection of classic cars and gadget-laden vehicles can rejoice at the extended opening of the Bond in Motion exhibition at the London Film Museum (and the widely anticipated opening of the next James Bond movie Spectre starring Daniel Craig), we take a look at some of the iconic movie posters produced for the 007 movies currently listed on our website.

PC0247_1_m  This long-running popular series full of seductive Bond girls, evil villains, high speed car chases, witty one-liners, exotic locations and Martinis “shaken, not stirred” hit the screens in 1962 with the first actor to play the dapper British spy master, Sean Connery (1962-1971, 1983: Dr No, From Russia With Love, Goldfinger, Thunderball, You Only Live Twice, Diamonds Are Forever and a later adaptation of Thunderball, Never Say Never Again):

In 1973 the English actor, Roger Moore, then well known for his role as Simon Templar in The Saint, took over and became the oldest and longest serving 007 actor, portraying a more suave James Bond (1973-1985: Live and Let Die, The Man with the Golden Gun, The Spy Who Loved Me, Moonraker, For Your Eyes Only, OctopussyA View to a Kill):
